The research - knowledge base provides the foundation for optimizing learning with 21st Century tools. This includes both learning from, contributing to that knowledge base. Educators should ground their teaching in a sound theoretical base of both general learning and content specific learning. In addition, educators should be reading impact studies to inform their decision making process related to technology. And, educators should continously conduct formative and summative evaluations of how those interventions impact learning in their own situations. |
