How do I obtain Metiri Group services? What types of fee arrangements and contracts do you offer?

Metiri Group consultants work under a variety of arrangements designed to meet the needs of our clients. Typical arrangements include:

Per Diem Consulting and Speaking
Short-term consulting and speaking is usually performed under an agreed upon rate card plus travel expenses. Fees vary by the specific consultant you work with, and with the length of the contract, with discounts offered for long-term work. Typical engagements under these arrangements include presenting and facilitating, short-term strategic planning, short-term advisory and consultation services, and assistance with preparing proposals and RFP's.

Fixed Price Contracts
For projects with specific deliverables and products, fixed price contracts are often desirable. Fees are typically associated with the delivery of a specific product, such as a report, survey, booklet, or web application. Evaluations can be conducted under either fixed price or time and materials contracts, depending on the specific client needs.

Time and Materials Contracts
Long term consulting and advisory projects, some evaluations, and large scale strategic planning are often contracted on a time and materials basis. Fees are negotiated with the client, and the client is billed for consultant time spent working on client projects and direct expenses incurred.
