Dr. Joseph Torgeson, developer of DaisyQuest, and associates have conducted two controlled studies of the impact of DaisyQuest on phonological awareness. In each of these studies, the DaisyQuest students outperformed control groups by approximately a full standard deviation on a variety of tests of phonological awareness. This can be equated to improvement from the 50th percentile to the 82nd percentile. Range of Technology Use Academic Content Areas .
