> Exhibit goal-orientation; are guided by the successful
   accomplishment of goals and not by simply finishing a task

> Spend a considerable amount of "up-front" time reflecting on the
   problem at hand, possible courses of action, and consequences

> Anticipate obstacles and plan accordingly

> Exhibit positive leadership traits; cause others to act in
   accordance with a plan

> Utilize time and resources efficiently and effectively
